Luxury sports car maker Automobili Lamborghini has collaborated with British nursery brand Silver Cross to design a premium baby stroller worth $5,000 (Rs 4.3 lakh). The premium stroller, called Reef AL Arancio, will be sold in a limited production run of only 500 units globally.
The AL Arancio Reef is also meant for comfort as well as style. Designed by Lamborghini's iconic supercars, it comes equipped with full suspension and all-terrain wheels as well as a brake pedal that takes cues from Lamborghini's vehicle design. It is built from high-quality materials such as Italian leather and high-performance suede, making it look high-end.
Its sleek black frame is highlighted by Lamborghini’s iconic Arancio orange color, adding a sporty touch. The stroller also comes with a complete set of accessories, including:
A carrycot and pushchair seat
Footmuff
Car seat adapters
Sun sail
Mosquito net
Two rain covers
It took more than two years of close interaction between Silver Cross and Lamborghini teams to develop the design. Commenting on the finished product, Silver Cross design director Phil Taylor explained, “Taking design inspiration from Automobili Lamborghini brand pillars, brave, unexpected, and authentic, this exclusive collaboration showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and innovation of the Silver Cross team, highlighting our attention to detail and commitment to excellence in every aspect of the design process.”
The Reef AL Arancio can be bought online and in-store, but only at Harrods in the UK.
The launch of the stroller has generated a lot of buzz on social media. Silver Cross shared it on Instagram, stating, “Made for parents who dare to stand out.” One user commented, “I want a kid just so I can buy one,” while another wrote, “It’s amazing.” A third user joked, “If you’re looking for a community of mamas in Abu Dhabi to test drive this baby, we’re here for it.”
For parents who are interested in pairing luxury with convenience, the Reef AL Arancio provides the best of style and performance.
