Previously they introduced gold notes triggered by keywords but this feature was removed due to feedback and operational adjustments.

Instagram has rolled out an exciting update for its users with the “Instagram Rolls Out New Feature” of adding a 30-second song clip to their profile bios. Starting today, Instagram fans can choose a track from the platform’s music library – the same one used for reels and posts – and showcase it in their bio under a new section titled “Taste.” This song will stay on the user’s profile until they opt for a different track or remove it altogether.

Sabrina Carpenter Partners with Instagram: Exclusive Music Preview for Users

To kick off this feature Instagram has partnered with pop artist Sabrina Carpenter. As part of a promotional strategy, Carpenter’s profile will include a snippet of an unreleased song from her upcoming album, set to be released this Friday. This collaboration gives Carpenters fans an exclusive preview of her music, boosting fan interaction and utilizing the Instagram platform to create excitement, around her album launch.

Instagram has taken a step, beyond just music by introducing updates to its Notes feature that allow for changes. Users can now see a hue when they use words like “Demure,” “Cutesy,” “Considerate” and “Mindful” in their Notes. The shade of pink may vary based on the device’s screen quality often appearing more off-white than a vibrant pink.

This isn’t the first time Instagram has played around with note colour changes. Previously they introduced gold notes triggered by keywords but this feature was removed due to feedback and operational adjustments.
