Ryan, who hails from Texas, is a toy reviewer on YouTube and his channel has more than 27 million subscribers.

Last year, he became the highest-paid YouTuber for the second year in a row,  earning raised $26 million, a huge jump from his 2018 earnings of $17 million.

As expected, he has once again become the highest-earning YouTuber of the year after making nearly $30 million in 2020. In addition, he earned $200 million from clothes with his branding. He also got into a deal with Marks and Spencer pyjamas, which brought more fortune for the kid.

That’s not it! The kid has also reportedly signed a multimillion deal with Nickelodeon for his own television series.

Known as a “child influencer” on the internet, Kaji first made YouTube videos in March 2015 when he saw other kids his age making unboxing and review videos on the platform. According to The Guardian, his first reaction to that was - “How come I’m not on Youtube when all the other kids are?”

The intensity of his fame has changed his family in ways more than one, for they dropped their real surname Guan and kept Kaji - his on-screen surname. Together, they now run 9 YouTube channels.

But not everything was smooth-sailing for Ryan and his family.

Last year, Ryan’s parents were accused by consumer watchdog Truth in Advertising of not fully disclosing sponsored content. They said in a statement they always complied with advertising regulations.

Ryan isn't the only kid on the block with a big reputation for reviewing toys on social media.

Boram, a 7-year-old from South Korea, is popular on YouTube with over 30 million subscribers from two channels - Boram Tube Vlog and Boram Tube ToyReview.
