Kangana Ranaut has made a daring statement while running for the next Mandi Lok Sabha elections. The actress, who is running for office in Mandi, stated that she would "quit" the film business if she were to win a seat.
When asked if she will leave Bollywood after being elected to the Mandi seat, Ranaut said, "Yes."
She informed Aaj Tak more about her choice to quit the film business, saying, "The film industry is a lie; everything that exists there is fake." They provide a totally distinct atmosphere. The purpose of this dazzling, false bubble-like world is to draw in viewers. This is how things actually are."
Ranaut discussed how she would balance the responsibilities of a political career with Bollywood, emphasising how she lives a life motivated by passion and uses the same standards to create her films.
Upon being informed that her exit from Bollywood would disappoint a lot of people, she disclosed that a number of filmmakers had already urged her to stay in the business, stating that "we have one great heroine."
Ranaut vowed to be committed to her ongoing film projects, even in spite of her political ambitions. "I have several films in the pipeline, including Emergency, Sita: The Incarnation, which is a trilogy, Noti Binodini, which is a biopic, and a thriller with Madhavan," she revealed in an interview with ANI. I'm determined to see these initiatives through."
