Rajeev Chandrasekhar, a union minister, retaliated against Congressman Shashi Tharoor on Monday over his comment made during the exit polls. It's time for Rahul Gandhi should open a gym. Shashi Tharoor ought to establish an English language school.
The Thiruvananthapuram-based BJP candidate Chandrasekhar told ANI, "I think these elections will point the Congress party towards a new occupation. The Congress party has many people who are very good with language and speak very eloquently." The BJP leader, who is facing Tharoor in the capital of Kerala, continued, "The people of India want their political leaders who serve them, who can improve their lives, and certainly, this group of people, whether that is Rahul Gandhi or anybody else, cannot fit the bill."
Exit polls show the NDA will win handily, however...Following Tharoor's description as "laughable" of the exit poll predictions indicating a resounding victory for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance in the Lok Sabha elections, Chandrasekhar made the statement.
"We are seeing it with skepticism and disbelief because we have also been campaigning throughout the country. We also have a sense of what the pulse of the people is and we don't believe it is reflected accurately in these polls,” Tharoor was quoted by ANI as saying.
Exit polls were three times off from the real outcome."After talking with every member of the INDIA bloc, our Congress president expressed his conviction that we will receive roughly 295 for the alliance. I adhere to that figure," the three-time member of Congress stated. The Congress and a number of opposition parties have expressed their optimism that the INDIA alliance will win on Tuesday, rejecting the exit poll results. "We simply need to wait and see.
Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi stated, "We are extremely hopeful that our results are completely opposite to what the exit polls are showing." Rahul Gandhi, a Congress MP, also disparaged the exit polls, stating, "This is a Modi media poll, not an exit survey. This poll is for Modi ji. His fantasy poll is this one.”
"Have you heard Sidhu Moose Wala's song '295'?" the Congress leader asked in response to a question regarding the INDIA Bloc's seat count during the exchange. 295 "
Released on June 1 following the completion of the seventh and final round of the Lok Sabha elections, the exit polls suggested that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's NDA alliance, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), will likely win back to power three times in a row. Several survey findings indicate that more over 350 seats were expected by pollsters, with some even projecting more than 400 seats for the NDA.
