Nayab Singh Saini has been selected as the leader of the Haryana BJP Legislative Party. He will take the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Haryana tomorrow. Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced his name during a ceremony held at the BJP office in Panchkula.

Saini expressed his gratitude to the people of Haryana for believing in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plans and for helping the BJP win the election for the third time. He stated, "The people have resolved to carry forward the vision of Prime Minister Modi towards making a developed India by 2047."

Saini is scheduled to meet Haryana's governor, Bandary Dattatreya, at 2 PM today to officially say that he will form the new government. The BJP won a big victory in the recent elections, getting 48 out of 90 Assembly seats, which is their best result ever in Haryana. The Congress Party, which wanted to come back to power, got 37 seats.

This election marks the first time in Haryana's history that a party has been able to form a government for three consecutive terms. Saini, who replaced Manohar Lal Khattar as Chief Minister in March, was the BJP's candidate for the top position in the recent Assembly elections.

The swearing-in ceremony for Nayab Singh Saini will take place at 10:30 am on Thursday at the Parade Ground in Panchkula. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Chief Ministers and leaders from the BJP are expected to be there for the event.

Nayab Singh Saini, born on January 25, 1970, is an Indian politician who has been the Chief Minister of Haryana since March 2024. Before this role, he was the president of the Haryana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party since 2023. Saini is known as a prominent leader from the Other Backward Classes community in Haryana.

In the October 2024 Haryana Assembly elections, he won from the Ladwa constituency in the Kurukshetra district and helped the BJP secure its third consecutive victory in the state. Previously, Saini served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Kurukshetra from 2019 to 2024.
