Allegations Presented in Court on Liquor policy case:

The Enforcement Directorate lawyer, S V Raju, presented the case to Justices Dipankar Datta and Sanjiv Khanna, stating that Kejriwal’s arrest followed six prior complaints. Raju emphasized the gravity of the accusations, alleging that Kejriwal demanded a bribe of Rs 100 crore, which was then distributed to various locations, including Goa, where it was allegedly used for political campaigning and activities of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

"Vicarious role is also there. As far as his role, he demanded 100 crores. 45 crores handled by Chaman Preet Singh, who paid for his hotel in Goa,” Raju stated, quoting the remarks of Sarath Reddy, the prominent figure in the 'South Group.'

"The most important material is he (Kejriwal) demanded Rs 100 crore in bribe. If that material is there, as a result of which Rs 100 crore was generated, it was sent to different places, it reached Goa, and used in election campaign and for AAP," Raju stated.

Raju further claimed that AAP would soon face charges in this case and mentioned significant expenses incurred by Chaman Preet Singh for Kejriwal’s luxurious accommodation in Goa’s Grand Hyatt hotel. He highlighted the involvement of Sarath Reddy, believed to be a central figure in the ‘South Group,’ and noted that discussions about the now-defunct liquor policy took place at Kejriwal’s residence, with co-accused Vijay Nair residing nearby. Raju accused Kejriwal of playing a direct role in demanding the bribe and indicated that a portion of the funds was managed by Singh for Kejriwal’s stay in Goa.
