In response to these pressing problems, the party has developed the “Mahalakshmi” initiative as a source of hope for women facing financial insecurity. The program seeks to lend a helping hand to individuals in need, empowering them to overcome economic hurdles and follow their dreams with fresh vigor.

“To do justice to their hard work and penance, It has come up with a revolutionary step,” Sonia Gandhi asserted with conviction. “Under Congress’s ‘Mahalakshmi’ scheme, Congress promises ₹1 lakh every year to a woman from a poor family.”
