The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 results have been announced today at 2 pm. CBSE class 12th results will be available on the board's official website: cbseresults.nic.in, and cbse.gov.in links. Apart from this, digilocker.gov.in, the DigiLocker app, and the UMANG app will also host the results. Students would need their roll number to check their results.
Over 16 lakh students had registered for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 which were canceled this year. In view of the pandemic, the board decided for the first time in its history to cancel paper-based exams and instead evaluate students on the basis of their past performance. In effect, results based on student’s performance in Class 10, 11, and internal exams of Class 12 would be released.
CBSE pass certificates, mark sheets, and migration certificates will be available on the DigiLocker platform. Students can download their documents from the app or the website by clicking on ‘CBSE’ under the ‘Education’ section. Notably, the board will issue hard copies of migration certificates only on request. Otherwise, students can download it from DigiLocker.
According to the evaluation policy, the theory paper evaluation formula is 30 per cent weightage to Class 10 marks, 30 per cent weightage to Class 11 marks and 40 per cent weightage to Class 12 marks in unit test/mid-term/pre-board exams.
