Stray dogs attack and kill girl trying to protect her brother in Kanpur

Khushi, a six-year-old girl, tragically lost her life in Kanpur while bravely trying to protect her younger brother, Bhola, from a pack of stray dogs.

In a heart-wrenching incident reported from Kanpur, a six-year-old Khushi lost her life in a vicious by Stray dogs attack, while two-year-old Bhola sustained injuries.

The devastating outcome of the incident has left the community reeling and mourning the loss of young Khushi, while hoping for Bhola’s swift recovery.

Following the incident, the family members caused a commotion by blocking the road with the girl’s body, protesting the administration’s alleged inaction against the canine menace.

In response to the incident, Mayor Pramila Pandey took decisive action by ordering the demolition of a total of 44 meat and fish shops in the area.

The involvement of key officials such as Govind Nagar police station in-charge Prashant Mishra and ACP Babupurwa Amarnath Yadav underscored the gravity of the situation and the collaborative efforts to address the underlying issues contributing to the tragic events.

Locals reported that numerous complaints had been lodged previously, but were not taken seriously.

Mayor Pandey stated that the responsible officer of the Municipal Corporation has been asked to provide an explanation.
