The Lawrence Bishnoi gang, known for its involvement in organized crime, has been facing increased attention from authorities. Recent arrests in other states suggest that law enforcement is working together to break down the gang's operations.

On 27 November, Punjab Police arrested two associates of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in Jalandhar after a high-speed chase and shootout. Police officials stated that the suspects fired at officers during the pursuit, leading to a return of fire. Authorities seized three firearms and a large quantity of cartridges, emphasizing the gang's ability to engage in violent acts.

Another arrest was made this week when Jaipur police arrested four individuals connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The arrests were made based on intelligence gathered from monitoring social media.

The suspects were said to be following social media accounts linked to Lawrence Bishnoi and his associate, Rohit Godara. Jaipur Police revealed that the individuals had obtained multiple illegal weapons from Madhya Pradesh and were reportedly preparing to carry out orders from senior members of the gang.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Singh provided details about the arrests in Jaipur, stating, “The individuals were carrying out courier work for the gang and were arrested before they could receive further instructions. Multiple weapons were recovered from their possession.”
