The BJP leader went on to say that he has never declined an interview and emphasised how the environment is changing and how there are now many other ways to communicate.

“Earlier, the used to be faceless… who is writing in the media, what is the ideology… nobody was bothered about it. However, the situation is not the same any more,” the Prime Minister said.

He mentioned that his core values include doing hard work and helping people in need. It’s possible for me to cut ribbons and get my picture taken at Vigyan Bhawan. That is not what I do. “I go to a small district in Jharkhand and work on a small project,” Modi stated in the conversation.

The Varanasi-based BJP candidate also made note of the fact that new communication channels have replaced the one source of information that existed in the past. According to the Prime Minister, communication with the people is now two-way.

Modi continued by saying that individuals may now express themselves without the help of the media. Without, the individual who must respond can effectively voice his opinions, he said.
