In a heartwarming gesture, the parents of a Class 10 student in Karnataka chose to celebrate their son’s failure instead of scolding or shaming him, setting an example of unconditional support and positivity. Abhishek Cholachagudda, a student of Basaveshwar English Medium School in Bagalkot, scored only 200 marks out of 600 in his Class 10 board exams, a score of around 32%. He failed in all six subjects.

While many of his classmates mocked him for the poor result, Abhishek’s parents decided to uplift his spirits by cutting a cake and holding a small celebration at home. Their aim was to show support, boost his confidence, and remind him that one failure doesn't define his future.

The gesture has gone viral on social media, with many praising the parents for choosing love and encouragement over anger and disappointment. “You may have failed in exams, but not in life. You can always try again and succeed next time,” his parents told him. Deeply moved by their support, Abhishek said, “Even though I failed, my family encouraged me. I will again write the exam, pass, and succeed in life.”

Their story has touched many online, with people praising the parents for their positive approach and unconditional support.
