Narendra Modi's third term confirmed.

On June 9, Narendra Modi will take the oath of office as Prime Minister of India for the third time, according to senior BJP leader Pralhad Joshi.

Speaking at the NDA parliamentary party gathering in the former Parliament building's Central Hall, Joshi announced that the oath-taking ceremony is set for 9 June at 6 p.m.

NDA MPs attended the conference along with senior alliance leaders, including chief ministers. J P Nadda, the president of the BJP, is anticipated to put out a resolution endorsing Modi's leadership, which allies and lawmakers are likely to approve.

The conference was also attended by other NDA leaders, including Pawan Kalyan, Anupriya Patel, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Chirag Paswan. In the 543-member Lok Sabha, the NDA comfortably surpasses the majority mark of 272 with 293 MPs.

At the meeting, BJP national president JP Nadda said, "We extend heartiest congratulations to the Prime Minister, who spent every moment in the service of the nation. That is the reason that India is creating history today and NDA is forming a government for the third consecutive time with a majority."

Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, commented, "I had already congratulated him (PM Modi) for his third term and the success of the NDA as the third term government," while arriving at the Parliament.

Among those who showed up for the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting was Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who stated, "We were able to win only one seat in Goa." I regret that we were not able to secure the other seat as well."

Prominent alliance members like N Chandrababu Naidu of the TDP, Nitish Kumar of JD(U), and Eknath Shinde of Shiv Sena are anticipated to accompany Prime Minister Modi to a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu after Modi was elected as the head of the NDA MPs. They are going to provide her the list of lawmakers who back Modi.

The NDA easily surpasses the majority threshold of 272 members in the 543-member Lok Sabha with 293 MPs.

The NDA has received backing from the TDP of Chandrababu Naidu and the JDU of Nitish Kumar, who won 16 and 12 seats in their respective states, respectively.

In the new parliament, Congress has 99 members, and the INDIA bloc has 234 MPs.
