A tech entrepreneur from Mysuru died by suicide, and his wife and 14-year-old son were found shot dead at their home near Washington, USA, last week, according to several reports.The King County Medical Examiner's Office said the victims were 57-year-old Harshavardhana Kikkeri, CEO of the Mysuru-based robotics company HoloWorld, his 44-year-old wife Shwetha Panyam, who co-founded the company, and their teenage son.

According to King County sheriff’s spokesperson Brandyn Hull, police are investigating the incident as a possible murder-suicide, though the exact cause is still being determined. The incident occurred on Thursday night (US time) and is under investigation. Reports say the younger son, aged 7, was outside the house at the time and survived.

Police were called to a townhouse on 129th Place Southeast around 7 pm on Thursday after a 911 call. Upon arriving, detectives found blood on the front window and a single hollow-point bullet in the street. Hull said, "An investigation such as this takes time, and our detectives are working diligently to try and piece together what led to this incident."

Alex Gumina, president of the homeowners association, told The Seattle Times that the family, which included the couple and their two sons, mostly kept to themselves.
