In another terrific incident, an innocent 15-year-old has been gang-raped by three men at her house in Meerpet. The incident took place on Sunday in the Nandanavanam Colony.

The 15-year-old girl and her younger brother were abandoned by their parents and live at a relative’s house, police said. The accused forcefully entered the victim’s house at around 9:30 am and threatened her and her brother at knifepoint.

According to news reports, three of the four men who had taken the victim upstairs took turns to rape her in a drunk, intoxicated condition. They fled the spot when the girl cried for help. They allegedly assaulted the victim’s brother and pushed him out of the house.

According to the police complaint registered by the minor victim, a group of eight people forcefully entered the house.

“A case has been registered and it is being invested. The minor girl was sent for a medical examination. There are definite clues about the identity of the three accused. Seven police parties have been formed to apprehend the accused,” said the Meerpet police.

Police have also detained suspects in the case and their questioning is going on. However, the main offender of the crime is still at large.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner DS Chauhan visited the crime scene and also the Meerpet Police Station.

The victim, a Dalit, is employed at a garment shop in Dilsukhnagar, while her younger brother works as a helper in installing flexi. A case was registered on the charge of gang rape under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
