A bus carrying pilgrims caught fire in Vrindavan, killing one elderly woman and leaving 49 others lucky to escape without serious injuries.
The woman, named Sheelam Drupath, was 60 years old and lived in Palsi village in Nirmal district. She was on her way home from the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The pilgrims had stopped to visit a temple when the bus suddenly caught fire.
Fire engines reached the scene quickly to put out the flames, but it was too late to save Drupath, who died in the fire. Luckily, the other 49 passengers managed to get out of the bus without getting hurt.
