Live vote counting on big screens at key locations of Delhi

Polling parties have been sent to their designated polling places with voting equipment and supplies.

Preparations are in full swing for the vote counting of the Lok Sabha elections on June 4.

In order to provide live news on the vote counting, large screens will be erected in several markets and other significant areas inside the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency.

A number of social organisations and market groups will be organising this event. They will not be able to follow real-time updates on the counting because on June 4, the markets will be open and the trader community will be at their stores all day.

Trade Associations Facilitate Live Vote Counting Updates for Traders

In light of this, trade associations have made the decision—which has been well received by traders—to show all the news pertaining to the live counting on sizable screens at strategic spots within their region.

Phase 7, which is the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, according to the Election Commission of India. In eight states and union territories—Bihar, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal—57 PCs are set to vote.

Simultaneous polling will be conducted for the 42 remaining Odisha State Legislative Assembly Assembly constituencies. With six stages and 486 Lok Sabha seats now covered, this will be the grand finale to the largest polling marathon in history, which started on the 19th of last month. Smooth and peaceful voting has been conducted for 486 PCs and 28 States/UTs.

Polling parties have been sent to their designated polling places with voting equipment and supplies. All the necessities, such as plenty of shade, drinking water, ramps, and restrooms, are provided at polling places so that voters can cast their ballots in a safe and comfortable atmosphere.

CEOs who are worried and state apparatuses have been instructed to take appropriate action to mitigate the negative effects of heat waves or precipitation where forecast.
