Japan's ambassador to India, Hiroshi Suzuki, recently made a trip to Delhi's crowded Sarojini Nagar market with his wife, Eiko Suzuki, and well-known YouTuber Mayo Japan. The group indulged on a variety of street snacks while perusing the neighborhood market.

The hook steps of the Jailer song Kaavaalaa are recreated by Mayo Japan and Suzuki in the video. Before exploring further of the market, the party then went on to sample some delectable aloo tikki from a local seller.

Suzuki even took the time to try on a few kurtas before selecting one that he ended up buying since he loved it so much. He found it to be so appealing that he decided to wear it for the duration of the video.

The group finished their culinary journey with ram laddus, chicken momos, and freshly steamed veggies.

Mr Suzuki shared the video of the visit on microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter) with a caption that reads, "Wonderful, desi experience with Hindi-speaking Japanese YouTuber Mayo san! Aloo tikki dijiye."

The message has received over 17,800 views since it was published on the microblogging platform X. Furthermore, it has gotten a ton of likes and comments.

In the video, we observe Ambassador Suzuki savoring street cuisine, perusing various stores, and conversing with people and store owners. Social media users have responded to the film with overwhelmingly favorable comments, praising Suzuki for his sincere interest in Indian culture and his readiness to interact with people from all walks of life.

Mr. Suzuki has already seen internet success with a food-related video.

Ambassador Suzuki also reviewed the new Rajnikant starrer ‘Jailer’ and its hit song ‘Kaavaalaa’ featuring Tamannaah Bhatia.

Earlier also Suzuki posted a video in which he was seen flipping his glasses like Rajnikanth. He was seen taking the help of another person to do it in the right way. He wrote along with the video, Vannakkam!

In 2022, Hiroshi Suzuki, the Japanese ambassador to India, said, "With India and Japan assuming the prestigious G-20 and G-7 Presidencies respectively, the two nations are at a critical juncture for further strengthening their global and strategic partnership by way of proactive engagements in trade and investment to achieve the goal of 5-trillion Yen." Suzuki was speaking at the business session on "India-Japan@75: Realizing the 5 trillion Partnership in Next Five Years" on December 20, 2022.

The two nations, as two strong democracies, shared the universal ideal of freedom and the guiding principle of respect for the rule of law, according to Ambassador Suzuki, who emphasized that India and Japan should take the lead in maintaining peace and prosperity in the India Pacific region. He said that the economic cooperation is a key tenet of the bilateral relationship and that India-Japan ties have the highest potential of all the bilateral interactions.
