Once the threat was received, a thorough search operation was launched at all the airports mentioned in the email. Security personnel worked tirelessly to search every area, looking for any suspicious items or signs of danger. However, despite their efforts, no suspicious items were found during the search.
Naturally, this bomb threat caused panic and anxiety at several airports, including Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, as well as airports in Bhopal, Patna, Jammu, and Jaipur. People were understandably worried about their safety and the potential for a devastating incident. However, it’s important to note that after a thorough investigation, the threat was deemed ‘non-specific’ by the Bomb Threat Assessment Committee, alleviating some of the tension amidst the backdrop of Indian airports on high alert. Despite this relief, the incident underscores the importance of maintaining stringent security measures and preparedness to swiftly respond to any potential threats in the future.
Despite the assessment, authorities at Lucknow Airport took the threat seriously and conducted a thorough inspection to ensure the safety of all passengers and staff. They implemented additional security measures to provide an extra layer of protection and peace of mind for everyone involved.
There are also bomb threats that have occurred different states in India. For example, Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and over 10 hospitals have received similar threats in the past. However, after thorough investigations by the Delhi Police, it was confirmed that these threats were hoaxes and not credible. In fact, earlier this month, there were bomb threats sent to approximately 100 schools in Delhi, as well as schools in Noida and Lucknow. These threats, too, were determined to be hoaxes after extensive investigations by the authorities.

The Delhi Police and Fire Services Department, among others, are working diligently to ensure public safety.
