In a new initiative, Gurugram police will install QR codes at all district police stations to collect visitor feedback, officials said. The project was launched on Thursday by Gurugram Police Commissioner Vikas Arora, who personally gathered public feedback on police services before introducing the system.

A special event was organized at Sadar police station in Gurugram to introduce a new digital feedback system aimed at improving police services. The initiative was officially launched by the Gurugram Police Commissioner, who attended the event as the chief guest. During the inauguration, he provided a detailed explanation of the purpose and benefits of this initiative.

Addressing the audience, the commissioner announced that QR codes would be installed in all police stations across Gurugram to make police services more transparent, efficient, and citizen-friendly. Through this system, visitors to the police stations will be able to scan the QR codes using their smartphones and provide instant feedback on police services.

They can rate their experience, highlight any issues, and share suggestions digitally. This initiative is expected to improve communication between the police and the public, helping law enforcement agencies understand public concerns and take necessary actions to enhance their services.

Under this new system, people visiting police stations for help can easily share their feedback by scanning a QR code, a senior officer said.

When they scan the QR code, a web page will open where they can rate their experience and provide details like their name, phone number, type of complaint, and the officer they spoke to. They can also share feedback on the cleanliness of the police station, staff availability, how they were treated, and whether their problem was resolved.

The collected feedback will be regularly reviewed to assess the performance of each police station. Based on the responses, necessary improvements will be made to enhance public service and ensure better accountability. The Gurugram Police Commissioner will oversee the implementation of these changes.

"The aim of introducing the QR code feedback system is to make police services more transparent and efficient, ensure complaints are handled properly, and address any gaps in the working of police stations," said Police Commissioner Vikas Arora.
