J&K terror attack: Former BJP Ex sarpanch killed for praising PM Modi in a viral video

In a shocking incident, Ex sarpanch of Jammu & Kashmir Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh, was killed. The terrorist stormed to his house in Shopian on Saturday evening and opened fire from a close range, landing eight bullets in his chest and abdomen area to claim his life.

The strange part is that the terrorists asked for his identity before gunning him down, which suggests that the attack was planned around him with some objective. A recent video of him praising Prime Minister Modi went viral. He praised the government in its efforts for development.

A huge crowd gathered at his funeral on Sunday, people praised his work as the Sarpanch. He served in this role for five years, until this January.

A similar incident took place on the same day, where a couple were attacked in Pahalgam, The tourist couple was allegedly shot by terrorists. The husband is in critical condition, while the wife is stable but still under observation. The couple’s 5-year-old twin escaped the attack unharmed.

“The family was returning to the hotel at night. The couple along with their children were walking behind when suddenly terrorists on a bike started shooting. A bullet ran through my son’s eye and nose while Farah received a bullet in her shoulder,” said Aslam Khan, father of the victim. “The children were shocked and hid under a table nearby," he added.
