This came after enduring a grueling 10-hour-long interrogation at the CID's Special Investigation Team (SIT) office.

Surprisingly, despite the anticipation that Naidu would be directly taken to a local court after the medical examination, he was returned to the SIT office. This unexpected turn of events left TDP spokesperson Pattabhi Ram Kommareddy expressing his surprise. It was a twist in an already high-profile legal case that had captured the attention of many in the region.

The alleged scam has been associated with substantial financial losses to the state exchequer, estimated to be in the crores. Naidu, once a prominent leader, has been named the 'principal conspirator' in the case, adding further gravity to the charges against him.

In response to Naidu's arrest, the TDP party called for protests. They urged their supporters to participate in a one-day fast in every Assembly constituency on Sunday. The arrest of such a prominent political figure inevitably sparked political discussions and reactions within the state.
