Of course, Ambani’s jet isn’t your standard Boeing 737 MAX 9. It spent several months at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, where it was outfitted with custom cabin modifications and interior upgrades that took luxury to another level. From state-of-the-art tech to high-end materials, the Ambani family spared no expense in making sure their newest jet stands out from the rest. The cost of these modifications likely pushed the total price tag to over Rs 1,000 crore.  

What makes the Boeing 737 MAX 9 even more impressive is its ability to travel up to 11,770 kilometers non-stop, thanks to its two CFMI LEAP-1B engines. With such a range, the Ambani family can jet across continents with ease and comfort—whether it’s for business meetings or lavish vacations.

The new Boeing 737 MAX 9 is just one of the many aircraft in the Ambani family’s extensive fleet. Reliance Industries boasts a total of 10 private jets, each chosen for specific purposes. Alongside the new 737, there’s an Airbus A319 ACJ, a classic in Ambani’s collection for nearly two decades. The fleet also includes high-speed Bombardier Global 5000 and Global 6000 jets, which are ideal for intercontinental travel.  

Ambani has also opted for the efficiency and reliability of Dassault Falcon 900s and the Embraer ERJ-135, which has served the company for over 16 years. And let’s not forget the two helicopters—Dauphin and Sikorsky S76—perfect for short, swift trips between offices or industrial sites.
