In a hostage like situation again in Delhi, the Farmers have threatened that they have blocked all 5 main entry points of Delhi and won't let any movement unless they get to meet the top government 'official' precisely PM Modi over the crisis as if it is extortion.
At one point in time when farmers were saying the protests are going to be peaceful, but now they have resorted to blocking entries to the national capital so that food and other demands for the residents of the capital are not met.
Also due to the immense publicity of the protest and the 'Delhi Chalo' movement, the farmers who were earlier just wanting the government to amend the bill or take it back have now changed all their terms and conditions.
The farmers do not want to talk to Home Minister Amit Shah, rather want the Prime Minister to hold talks with them who have already been threatened by the same Sikh farmers to be 'assassinated' in a similar what to former PM Indira Gandhi.
"The condition put forward for talks is an insult to farmers. We will never go to Burari (Delhi). It is not a park but an open jail. Delhi Police told Uttarakhand Farmer Association President that they'll take them to Jantar Mantar but instead locked them at Burari Park," Surjeet Singh Phul, State President of BKU Krantikari (Punjab), said.
BKU is the same Farmer union that fought Punjab elections with Congress and hence the elections are clearly politically manipulated because Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan also went to the protest site and met several pro-AAP Farmer unions.
All in All, despite the government trying to end the crisis and talk it out with the farmers, the politically motivated protestors are not ready to give up so early, and hence, they are changing their demands.
