A total of 518 kilograms of cocaine seized in Gujrat, valued at Rs. 5000 crores was found by Delhi and Gujarat police working together to look for the Avkar Drug Limited company in Ankleshwar, Gujarat.
200 kilograms of cocaine valued at Rs. 2000 crore were taken by the Delhi police from a rented store in Ramesh Nagar, Delhi. They were concealed within twenty to twenty-five snack packets in boxes labeled "chatpata mixture" and "tasty treat."
It was the second significant narcotic bust after the special cell found 40 kg of hydroponically grown marijuana and more than 560 kg of cocaine in a godown in Mahipalpur, south Delhi, valued at Rs. 5,620 crore.
A few individuals have been taken into custody: Bharat Kumar Jain (48), Aurangzeb Siddiqui (23), Himanshu Kumar (27), and Tushar Goyal (40) from Mumbai. Akhlak from Uttar Pradesh was the seventh guy to be caught after two more were captured in Amritsar, Chennai.
Union minister Amit Shah expressed concern and confronted Congress about the purported Goyal connection. The Modi government is attempting to rid India of drugs, he has said, but the Congress is dragging the next generation into the dark ages.
The opposition party denied the BJP's unfounded allegation on Thursday that the drug kingpin, Tushar Goel, who was detained in connection with the narcotics seizure, is the chairman of the Delhi Youth Congress' RTI cell.
According to a statement released by the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), Mr. Goel was kicked out of the organization on October 17, 2022, for engaging in anti-party actions. This happened not long after BJP spokesperson and MP Sudhanshu Trivedi accused the opposition party of having ties to drug traffickers.
