The Bengaluru Police has arrested three people in connection with the murder of the Managing Director (MD) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a private company in the city.
Three suspects, namely Felix, Vinay Reddy, and Santosh, have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the crime. The incident occurred on Tuesday when the trio forcibly entered the premises of Aironics Media Private Limited and brutally murdered the firm's CEO, Vinu Kumar, and MD, Subramanyam Phanindra.
According to the police, Felix, an ex-employee of the company, had a prior working relationship with Phanindra. However, Felix had since established his own venture, which became a direct competitor to Aironics Media Private Limited. Reports suggest that a business rivalry between Felix and Phanindra may have driven the former to commit this act.
On Tuesday afternoon, around 4 pm, Felix and others attacked Phanindra and Vinu Kumar, with knives and machetes. As Vinu Kumar heard the screams, he rushed to Phanindra's chamber in an attempt to save him. However, the attackers turned their weapons towards Vinu Kumar as well. Shockingly, there were approximately ten employees present in the office at the time of the incident, forced to witness the horrifying murders.
Bengaluru Police arrested the suspects near Kunigal in Tumakuru district, bringing a ray of hope to the grieving families and traumatised colleagues of the victims. The police have assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted to uncover all the details surrounding this appalling crime.
The loss of Vinu Kumar and Subramanyam Phanindra has left an indelible mark on the company and the community. Their tragic demise serves as a dark reminder of the vulnerability that exists even within the confines of the workplace.
