The BJP government in Delhi will present 14 Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports during the second day of the three-day assembly session on Tuesday. These reports will focus on the performance of the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration.

The CAG reports, which were earlier “blocked” by the AAP, include critical audits and assessments of various government programs and initiatives, as reported by ANI. Some of these reports, according to sources familiar with the matter, are the State Finances Audit Report for the year ending March 2021, reports on Revenue, Economic, Social, and General Sectors and PSUs for the years ending March 31, 2020, and 2021, and the Performance Audit of Prevention and Mitigation of Vehicular Air Pollution for the year ending March 31, 2021.

Other reports include the Performance Audit of Children in Need of Care and Protection for the year ending March 31, 2021, the State Finances Audit Report for the year ending March 2022, a Performance Audit on Liquor Supply, and the State Finances Audit Report for the year ending March 2023.

It also includes the Performance Audit on Public Health Infrastructure and Management of Health Services, the Performance Audit Report on the Functioning of the Delhi Transport Corporation, and the Performance Audit Report of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India for the year ending March 31, 2022.

In December, Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena criticized then-CM Atishi for not presenting reports and called a special session. New CM Rekha Gupta accused the AAP government of misusing public money and said they must explain every penny. The three-day assembly session began on Monday, with Rekha Gupta, 47 BJP members, and 22 AAP members, including Atishi, taking their oaths.
