Violence and Protest

The recent wave of violence has cost eight lives and 12 severely injured bodies. This count can be largely credited to the merciless air strikes that triggered the violence. According to PTI’s report, numerous students set up a camp at Khwairamband Women’s Market in Imphal on Monday. Following a mass student protest in front of the Manipur Secretariat and Raj Bhavan. The student demanded action against the culprit of the air strike and asked for protection for the state’s “territorial and administrative integrity”.
