The Ahmedabad International Flower Show has once again secured a spot in the Guinness World Records, this time for the World's Largest Flower Bouquet. Organized annually by the Ahemdabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), the show, which attracts millions of visitors, earned this prestigious title after last year's record for the Longest Flower Wall.
The record for the World's Largest Flower Bouquet was previously held by Al-Ain Municipality in the UAE with a 7.7-meter flower structure. On January 7, 2025, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's 10.24-meter high and 10.84-meter radius flower bouquet earned the Guinness World Records title. The award was presented on February 18, 2024.
The award for the World's Largest Flower Bouquet was accepted by Deputy Mayor Jatinbhai Patel on January 7, 2025. The event was attended by several key figures, including Standing Committee Chairman Dewangbhai Dani, Leader of the Municipal Ruling Party Gaurangbhai Prajapati, Dandak Municipal Ruling Party Shitalben Daga, Chairman of the Requisition Committee Jayeshbhai Trivedi, Deputy Chairman Snehakumari Parmar, and Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner M. Thennarsan.
