A horrifying accident happened in Dundigal, Hyderabad, where a 6-year-old boy named Abhimanshu Reddy sadly lost his life. He was on his way to school with his mother on a scooter when the accident took place. A large truck hit their scooter, causing them to fall. Unfortunately, Abhimanshu came under the truck’s wheels and died on the spot, right in front of his mother.

The whole incident was caught on a nearby CCTV camera. It happened around 8 am and caused a huge traffic jam as many people gathered at the scene. The police quickly arrived and have started investigating how the accident happened. Abhimanshu was a Class 1 student at Geetanjali School in Bowrampet. His family lives in Akash Layout, Mallampet, and they are originally from Nizamabad district. After the accident, the boy’s body was taken for postmortem. The Dundigal police have filed a case against the truck driver.

Eyewitnesses said the mother was crying uncontrollably on the road, heartbroken by what had happened. People nearby tried to comfort and support her.

Similar incident 

This is the second child-related road accident in Hyderabad within a week. Just a few days earlier, on June 20, a 10-year-old boy named Jayshith Chauhan died in a similar tragedy. He was riding his bicycle near his home when he fell on the road, and a school bus coming from behind ran over him. He was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The police also filed a case against the bus driver and are investigating. These two incidents have left families and communities in deep shock and have raised serious concerns about road safety for children in the city.
