Popular travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood, who was based in Dubai, has passed away at the age of 32. The news was shared by his family through a post on his Instagram account on Thursday morning. The post did not mention the cause of his death.

In the message, the family asked people to respect their space during this difficult time and to avoid gathering outside their home.

The statement read: "It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time. We humbly request you to avoid gathering crowd near personal property. Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace."

Fans filled the comment section with shock and condolences after hearing the news.

Anunay had a strong presence across social media platforms. He had 14 lakh followers on Instagram, around 4 lakh subscribers on YouTube, and over 7,000 followers on Facebook. He had visited 46 countries, as mentioned in his Instagram bio, and often shared his travel experiences, photos, and guides online.

He also ran a separate Instagram channel called Breakintzzzz, where he recently shared a voting link for the Power Creator Awards - Travel. His recent online posts show that he was in Las Vegas.

Anunay was featured in Forbes India's Top 100 Digital Stars List for three years in a row, in 2022, 2023, and 2024, for his contribution to travel storytelling and digital influence.

This news comes shortly after the sudden death of content creator Misha Agarwal, who passed away earlier this month, just two days before her 25th birthday. Her followers, too, were left shocked by the loss.
