BJP leader Subramanian Swamy and his advocate Ishkaran Bhandari will soon be meeting Kangana Ranaut to offer legal assistance in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case.
Kangana has been quite outspoken on nepotism and the elite gangs in Bollywood, post Sushant’s demise.
After her recent interview with Arnab Goswami on the news programme ‘The Nation Wants To Know’ aired on Republic TV, Kangana has been summoned by Mumbai police for interrogation in the Sushant case.
As per reports, Kangana contacted lawyer Ishkaran for legal assistance after being summoned by police.
Dr Swamy, as quoted by OTV, said, “Since the investigation began, police are summoning many people but I was a bit surprised to see that they have summoned Kangana to the police station to question her. A person is always entitled to a lawyer, so I will make sure that she does not feel alone in the police station given the fact the ‘3 Khan Musketeers’ are on the rampage and are making all kinds of attempts to overpower people.”
“I can offer legal assistance to her because she is bold and courageous and she has given an interview too. She’s placed her record with great clarity. She needs to be legally protected and to make sure no unfairness is meted out to her, I think she should have a lawyer by her side,” he added.
Soon after Swamy’s interview, Ishkaran took to his Twitter handle to state that he will be legally assisting Kangana during the police interrogation.
