A journey back to 1987
Season 5 will be set in the fall of 1987, taking fans back to the world of Hawkins, Indiana — the small town where it all began. The story will continue from where Season 4 ended, with more twists involving the mysterious dimension known as The Upside Down.
All the main characters will return for the last adventure, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, and others.
Stranger Things was created by brothers Matt and Ross Duffer and has been one of Netflix’s most popular shows. The sci-fi series follows a group of kids who discover a secret government lab that accidentally opens a gate to another creepy world.
The Tudum event took place at the Kia Forum in LA, where fans gathered to celebrate Netflix’s biggest shows. During the Stranger Things segment, the three young stars shared clips from earlier seasons before announcing the new release dates through a teaser video.
