An audio recording has surfaced where a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claims responsibility for the firing at comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant in Canada. The gangster says the attack happened because Kapil had invited actor Salman Khan to the restaurant's inauguration on a Netflix show.
The audio clip, accessed by India Today, features gangster Harry Boxer from the Bishnoi gang. In the clip, he warns that anyone, whether a director, producer, or actor, who works with Salman Khan, will be shot. He says, “The first and second attacks on Kapil Sharma’s restaurant happened because he invited Salman Khan to the launch.”
Salman Khan appeared on the first episode of Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show, which aired on Netflix on June 21. He has long been on Lawrence Bishnoi’s target list due to his role in the 1998 blackbuck hunting case. The blackbuck is considered sacred by the Bishnoi community.
Harry Boxer also threatens that anyone working with Salman Khan will be held responsible for their death, saying, “We will not spare anyone. We are ready to go to any lengths to kill them.”

On Thursday, Kapil Sharma’scafe in Surrey, Canada,Kap’sCafe, was attacked for the second time in less than a month. Around 25 bullets were fired, shattering windows. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Bishnoi gang member Goldy Dhillon claimed responsibility for the firing in a social media post. Dhillon is wanted by Indian agencies and is believed to be hiding in Germany. He faces several charges, including murder and extortion.
The restaurant was also attacked earlier on July 10. At that time, Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) member Harjit Singh Laddi had claimed responsibility. He said the attack was because of Kapil’s alleged comments against Nihang Sikhs.
