After the massive success of Animal in 2023, Ranbir Kapoor is riding high on the wave of his career's new milestones. The actor is currently busy filming for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, but it's his blockbuster film Animal still continues to grab attention. Kapoor has revealed that Animal will be developed into a trilogy, with the second part, titled Animal Park, expected to begin production by 2027.

Ranbir Kapoor recently shared thrilling details about the future of Animal during a conversation with Deadline Hollywood. According to the actor, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had always envisioned Animal as a multi-part series. 

Kapoor explained, “The director is making another film right now. We should start that film in 2027. He just kind of flirted with what he really wanted to do with the movie. He wants to make it over three parts. The second part is called Animal Park. We've been sharing ideas from the first film itself, and how he wants to take the story forward." 

He further teased that the second part would allow him to play two characters, both the antagonist and the protagonist, adding to the excitement surrounding the project.

In addition to discussing Animal, Ranbir Kapoor also spilled some details about the highly anticipated Brahmastra Part 2. The sequel is still in the writing stage and will be titled Dev, following the success of the first film, Shiva

While the cast for Brahmastra 2 is under wraps, Kapoor confirmed that his wife, Alia Bhatt, will reprise her role in the sequel. He also expressed his admiration for director Ayan Mukerji, praising his groundbreaking work on the first part and expressing confidence that the franchise will continue to grow with future installments.

Amid all the excitement, Kapoor is also gearing up for his role in Ramayana Part 1. The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, features a star-studded cast, including Sai Pallavi and Yash. The actor’s role in this epic is expected to be another major focus of his already impressive career.
