Actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh made a major announcement during his concert in Chandigarh on Saturday. The popular Punjabi star raised his concerns over the inadequate infrastructure in Indian cities for live performances. On his ongoing multi-city tour, Diljit announced that he will not hold any future concerts in India until the government takes steps to improve the country’s concert infrastructure.

In a video shared by a fan from his concert, Diljit Dosanjh took the stage and expressed his frustration with the poor infrastructure in India. He told the crowd, “I want to tell the designated authorities that India does not have the infrastructure for live shows. This is a big revenue-generating space. It also provides livelihoods to many. Please focus on this space as well.”

In the video, Diljit Dosanjh also shared his thoughts on how to improve the concert experience. He said, “I will try to set up a stage in the middle while the crowd is distributed around it to improve the experience.” He then added, “I will not perform shows here until things improve. Instead of troubling us, improve the infrastructure.” His statement further emphasized the need for better facilities for live performances in India.

Diljit's concerts were heavily criticized for the sky-high ticket prices, with many accusing the Punjabi singer-actor of being involved in black-marketing. Responding to these claims, Diljit expressed his disappointment, making it clear that he is not connected to those reselling tickets. The ‘Lover’ singer stated, “If tickets are being sold like this, an artist cannot do anything.” He sent out a firm message, distancing himself from any involvement in black-marketing of tickets.

Diljit Dosanjh’s concerts in India have been amazing, with his lively stage presence and energy standing out. As part of his Dil-Luminati tour, the Punjabi superstar has impressed fans in many cities, starting with a grand show in Delhi. He then performed in Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, attracting large crowds and creating unforgettable memories for his fans.
