A day after reports emerged that there could be a possible "drug" angle surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Rhea Chakraborty's WhatsApp conversations hinting at discussions about illegal drugs have come to light.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) director Rakesh Asthana has revealed the findings of Enforcement Directorate in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. He said that the agency has found evidences that drugs were supplied to the late actor and his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
ED sources said that during their questioning of Jaya Saha, Rhea’s talent manager, they found some conversation between them about drug.
However, none of the three agencies provided any details into the form of drug or if it was consumed by any of the persons involved in the case.
It is learnt that these are retrieved chats as they were deleted by Rhea. In one of the chats, Jaya Saha appears to give dosing instructions to Rhea. "Use 4 drops in coffee, tea, or water and let him sip it. Give it 30-40 minutes for it to kick in," reads Saha's text. It is presumed that the ‘him’ being referred to is Sushant.
Notably, the ED had seized the phones and laptops of Rhea and his family during probe. Earlier, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy had claimed that Sushant had met a Dubai-based drug dealer before his death.
Meanwhile, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde denied claims that the actreess has “ever consumed drugs in her life time" Maneshinde added that Rhea ready for a blood test any time.
