Ananya Birla, a member of the Aditya Birla Group and the eldest daughter of business magnate Kumar Mangalam Birla, has announced her resignation from the music industry to focus on her business career, a move that has shocked both the music industry and fans. On May 7, 2024, Ananya Birla declared her retirement from the music industry. 

She revealed this information on her Instagram page, where she also gave an explanation of her decision to concentrate on her business endeavors and posted a moving message thanking everyone for their love and support throughout her musical career. She called it the "hardest" choice she has ever had to make.   

Ananya has been balancing her career as an entrepreneur and a musician for a while now. Her work in the corporate sector has taken priority over her singing career, nevertheless, due to the demands of juggling her commercial endeavors. In 2016, Ananya Birla released her first song, "Livin The Life," which swiftly made her a household name across the globe.

She made history as the first Indian musician to achieve platinum status with an English record, and she was a guest on Sirius XM Hits3, an American national top 40 pop radio program. She recently released a single called "Jazbaati Hai Dil" for the film "Do Aur Do Pyaar," and it was favorably received, demonstrating her artistic range.  

Support and sympathy have been shown for Ananya Birla's decision to quit her music career by both fans and notable personalities in the industry. While expressing his sorrow, singer Armaan Malik urged Ananya to stay true to herself and wished her luck in all of her future aspirations. Tennis player Sania Mirza expressed her love and support, and actor Bobby Deol wished Ananya luck and the blessings of God in all that she does.

In addition to expressing their support and well wishes for Ananya's future pursuits, several fans voiced their surprise and regret over her decision. Some fans expressed how her music inspired them and expressed their wish that she would be active in music somehow.  

Ananya's choice highlights the difficulties experienced by people who work in both the business and artistic fields. Her business goals are expected to rise as she devotes her talents to her entrepreneurial endeavors, even though her singing career may be taking a backseat. At the age of 17, Ananya Birla established Svatantra Microfinance.
