In the announcement of the new changes for the upcoming academic sessions for the year 2024-2025, Delhi University (DU) has announced the introduction of a new campus single girl child quota across the entire programs.

This exercise, the first in the university, aims at providing increased opportunities for single girl children via the supernumerary seats’ set. DU Registrar Vikas Gupta made this statement during a press briefing, which underlined the university’s commitment to come up with a welcoming admission policy from one that was exclusionary.

The first step is to visit the portal of CSAS and apply for the course of their choice while the second part involves the process of allotment of seats for the course applied.

Furthermore, anyone who does not register in the initial registration round gets a mid-entry opportunity to join after paying a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1000. In any case, these late applicants cannot secure spots that had been already confirmed for the students who registered early.

CSAS registration website is currently open for students and will be open until about one month later in future.

The next round of admission will open after the CUET UG results are out and this is expected on June 30. This was similar to the eligibility criteria adopted in the previous academic session where CUET scores shall be used in the admission for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in DU.

From June 3, Delhi University (DU) will start the admission process for the School of Open Learning (SOL) and the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). For SOL and NCWEB, undergraduate admissions will rely on Class 12 marks. Additionally, some postgraduate courses in SOL will consider CUET scores. SOL offers nine undergraduate and eight postgraduate programs, while NCWEB provides 12 combinations of BA programs and B.Com Pass courses across its 26 affiliated colleges.

The first allocation list for postgraduate, B.Tech, and the 5-year integrated law programme is tentatively scheduled for June 20. This year, Delhi University (DU) received over 25.99 lakh applications for various programs through CUET UG, with 7.63 lakh unique candidates. The most sought-after courses were B.Tech, B.Com Hons, B.Com, and English Honours, indicating significant demand in these areas.
