In a front page advertisement which grabbed many eyeballs, Landomus Realtty Ventures announced that it would like to invest $500 billion in equity in India’s National Infrastructure Pipeline(NIP) and non-NIP projects as well, under its ‘Invest India’ initiative.
The announcements were released via advertisements in leading newspapers and on its website, stating interest in investing in the initiative unveiled by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in December 2019.
Landomous Group chairman Pradeep Kumar Satyaprakash said his group 'aims to assist the Government in its endeavour to build a new India and achieve the USD 5 trillion GDP target'.
Landomus Group states that they have a concrete plan to make India Pandemic Free and even requested for an opportunity to present it to the GOI.
Interestingly, as per reports, the company has 19 employees, a one page website and just USD 5 million in revenue and the amount they requested to invest was beyond their bounds.
Under the NIP scheme announced in December 2019, the government had projected a total infrastructure worth Rs. 111 lakh crore during FY20-25.
