The news raising questions on law and order in the state has come to the fore in Dausa. The woman living in Jagatpura, Jaipur was going to her Gopalpura village in Pehar Dausa. During this, the woman was kidnapped in the middle of the way and she was raped. Not only this, after gang-raping the woman, the kidnappers also put her to death and threw the body in the well. Police have detained 4 suspects. On the other hand, villagers and families are protesting and demanding an economic package. The family members have denied the possession of the body.

BJP State President Dr Satish Poonia has targeted Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the gang rape and murder case. He said that everyday cases of atrocities on women are coming to the fore in the state. With sisters and daughters, day-to-day misery is happening. After all, how does the head of state sleep peacefully? What is the compulsion of Ashok Gehlot that he is not able to establish the rule of law? No one is safe under Congress rule. Even government employees are being harassed.

Kidnappers kidnapped her on the pretext of giving her a lift.

On 23 April, a woman living in Jagatpura, Jaipur had left for her Pehar in Gopalpura village of Dausa. The woman had come on a motorcycle with her acquaintance till Bassi. After this, the woman reached the Sonad bus stand by sitting on the bus, but the distance of the woman's Pehar from the bus stand was 7 kilometres and there was no means of transport. In such a situation, a car driver standing on the side of the road gave a lift to the woman and a child present there. The child got down in his village at some distance but the woman's village was another. When the woman was alone in the car, the miscreants took advantage of this and gang-raped her.

CCTV helped in the case

When the woman did not reach home, the family lodged a missing complaint with the Ramgarh Pachwara police station on April 24. The police also got hold of CCTV footage. Based on the car visible in it, the police investigated and a suspect was caught. When the police did a thorough interrogation, the whole matter came to light. After this, the police detained 4 suspects, whose interrogation is going on. Suspects told that the woman was thrown into a well in a village under the Basti police station area. Last night the police reached the spot with the suspected accused. With the help of Tunga and Bassi police, the body of the woman was taken out and transported to the district hospital on Monday morning. The body of the deceased was seen to be burnt. However, doctors believe that due to the scorching heat and the body being inside the well, it is probably looking black. Whether the body has been burnt or not will be known only after the post-mortem report. The post-mortem process of the post-mortem was completed at Dausa District Hospital.

The family members have refused to take the body and are asking for capital punishment for the accused. They also want that the court proceedings happen in a fast-track court.
