The plan goes wrong

The police explained that Aaftab Ahmed had hired hitmen to kill the woman's husband and father because he was in a relationship with her. However, the hitmen mistakenly thought taxi driver Mohammad Rizwan was the target and killed him in the Madehganj area.

The hitmen brought in someone named Yasir to help with the plan, and Yasir asked another person, Krishnakant, to carry out the murder. Unfortunately, they killed the wrong person. After this mistake, Ahmed refused to pay the remaining Rs. 2 lakh he had promised the hitmen, which led to a fight between him and the group.

Arrests and evidence seized

The Lucknow police have arrested lawyer Aaftab Ahmed and two others who were involved in the crime. They found an illegal gun, a motorcycle used in the killing, 14 live bullets, and three mobile phones.

DCP Raveena Tyagi confirmed that Aaftab Ahmed, the main person responsible, is in police custody. All three suspects will go to court.
