The accident occurred around 10:30 PM in the Chandan Nagar area on the Pune Ahmednagar Road, as confirmed by police statements. One of the students was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other succumbed to his injuries during medical treatment.
“While they were on the way, the truck hit their motorbike from the backside. A youth died on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries in a hospital,” Vimaltal police station’s inspector Anand Khobre told PTI.

Two of the three youngsters were on a train to their Maharashtra birthplace of Latur. Their motorbike was struck from behind by the vehicle. While the other young person passed away while receiving care at a hospital, the first one died instantly. Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and other pertinent laws were cited in the truck driver’s arrest and booking, according to the police.
This took place amid the Porsche tragedy. After being apprehended, the assailant was released on the understanding that he would write a road safety essay. His bail was revoked and he was sent to a reform facility following a significant uproar.
Concerning the high-end vehicle collision case in Pune city that claimed the lives of two motorcyclists, Pune Police have detained an additional suspect, according to authorities. Pune Police officers claim that the apprehended individual is a suspect in the purported manipulation of the minor’s blood sample.
