A heinous crime was reported in the Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh, where a 13-year-old teen boy rapes her younger sister after watching porn and killed her when she threatened him to inform their father. The incident occurred in April this year. The police have arrested the boy for the crime, while his mother and two older sisters have been detained for allegedly covering up the incident.

The Incident

The incident dates back to 24 April when the dead body of the minor girl was found in the courtyard of the house. The family initially misled the police by saying that the girl died of an insect bite. However, the police solved the case after detaining the boy, his mother and his two sisters, aged 17 and 18, while interrogating nearly 50 others.

Vivek Singh, Rewa's Superintendent of Police (SP) told PTI, "A nine-year-old girl was raped and strangled to death under Jawa police station limits on April 24, following which the police had registered a case and started a probe."

The interrogation and evidence revealed that the boy slept beside her younger sister at night and after watching a porn video, the teen boy raped her. When the victim threatened to inform the father, the accused strangled her.

The police added that. "the boy strangled her and later woke up his mother and confided in his mother. She then found that the victim was still alive. On seeing that, the accused again strangled her."

The police further disclosed that the two elder sisters, who were present amid the incident, shifted the spot of their bed to mislead the police during the investigation. However, during interrogation, the girls accepted their crime and broke down.

The whole family tried their best to hide the crime. They confirmed that there were no signs of forced entry into the house, and the girl had died after being bitten by a poisonous snake.

All four accused were detained by the police. The minors were sent to a juvenile home, and the mother and an adult sister were arrested. MP Police has affirmed that further legal steps are being taken.
