The Income Tax Department has seized multiple supercars which are worth more than Rs 60 crores from the home of a tobacco tycoon in Delhi after the IT Department raided his home. The variety of supercars included Rolls Royce Phantom, Lamborghini Urus, Mclaren 720s and a Porsche Cayenne, all ending with the number 4018.

The Income Tax Department conducted a series of raids on the Kanpur-based Banshidhar Tobacco Company and discovered a possibility of manipulating financial records. These raids were a part of a series of raids conducted by fifteen to twenty team across multiple locations covering places in Delhi, Kanpur, Mumbai and Gujarat.

Banshidhar Tobacco Company is a huge name in the tobacco industry and also supplies tobacco to multiple major pan masala companies and is under the radar of the IT Department because they reported an annual income of Rs 20-25 crores, while their actual turnover was multiple folds more than the reported amount.

The company has been in existence and active in the manufacturing business for the past 32 years and is currently operational and managed by the board of directors namely Usha Mishra, Krishna Kumar Mishra and Shivam Kumar Mishra.

While the company was originally based in Kanpur, its bases shifted to Delhi where the proprietor lives as well.
