A case of domestic violence has emerged from Vikas Nagar in Raipur, Chhattisgarh in which a man allegedly pushed his wife from the second floor of their home after her argument over food.

The incident occurred on Wednesday and critically injured the woman.

Police have claimed that the husband, Sunil Jagbandhu, asked his wife Sapna to give him something to eat. But Sapna was using her mobile, and she got a bit delayed in replying and this minute delay transformed into an argument between the two.

Ridden by anger, Jagbandhu pushed Sapna from the second floor of the house, as police have said.

Sapna suffered serious injuries and was rushed to DK Super Speciality Hospital, where she is under critical care.

Gudhiyari Police have registered a case of domestic violence against Sunil Jagbandhu. Further investigation is underway by the authorities to unearth more details related to the incident.
