In a shocking and brutal incident, two brothers in Ahmedabad, allegedly upset over their mother's extramarital affair, killed a man in a fit of rage. The brothers, Sanjay Thakor (27) and Jayesh Thakor (23), are from Mokhasan village in Gandhinagar. They believed that their mother's affair with Ratanji Thakore (45) had dishonoured their late father’s memory and brought shame to the family.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed with the Kalol Taluka police, the brothers had been angry with Ratanji for more than 15 years over his relationship with their mother. They had warned him to stay away from her, but he ignored their warning. The brothers had clashed with Ratanji several times and even involved community elders in attempts to resolve the matter peacefully, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

How the brother kills the man

On Sunday, the two brothers attacked Ratanji while he was working on building a house with his friend, Jikuji Parmar. They came at him with a knife and a rod. Jayesh hit Ratanji on the head with the rod, and as Ratanji fell down, Sanjay started stabbing him repeatedly. Sanjay even pulled out Ratanji’s intestines and threw them into the air while cutting his organs. The brothers kept attacking until Ratanji collapsed in a pool of blood, according to the police report.

A group of workers and Ratanji's friend tried to stop the brothers and save Ratanji, but the brothers used the knife and the bloody rod to keep the villagers away. Afterward, they escaped on a motorcycle. The police tracked them down by checking their mobile phone locations and caught them later the same day. The brothers are now facing charges of murder and helping in the crime.
