Maharashtra CM met actor Salman
Eknath Shinde Maharashtra CM met actor Salman Khan on Tuesday at his Bandra residence and assured safety and security to Khan and his family. Shinde issued a statement promising to finish Lawrence Bishnoi after the firing incident that took place outside the actors home on Sunday morning. The security of the actor has been increased after the incident.
"I met with Salman Khan and assured him the government is with him. I also directed the police team to take immediate action on this and in that path two of the accused have been arrested... This is Maharashtra, no gang is left here... We will uproot all the gangs and goons...Here hooliganism will not be allowed to continue... The accused arrested are being interrogated... Strict actions will be taken," said the Maharashtra CM.
To this he further added, "I have also directed the Police Commissioner to provide security for Salman Khan and his family... It is our duty to take care of our people... I don't want to comment on what happened in the past government, but we will uproot all the gangs and goons who will try to harm any person of the state."
The two accused of the firing incident were earlier arrested in Gujrat's Kutch district and were later brought to Mumbai. The accused were presented in Mumbai's Kila court on Tuesday and the court ordered that they will remain in the police custody till 25th April.
Anmol Bishnoi brother of Lawrence Bishnoi took the responsibility of the attack through a Facebook post claiming it was just a trailer and next time the bullets will not be fired on an empty house. The gangster added it is their first and last warning.
A video of Tuesday was surfaced which showed Salman Khan leaving the apartment with tight security. A caravan of police Vehicle was seen covering Khan's Car from front and Back. The actors residence is under high police patrolling.
