Horrific Crime in Muzaffarpur: Inspired by ‘Crime Patrol’, Mother murders daughter

In Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, a woman named Kajal has been arrested by the police in connection with a Horrific Crime in Muzaffarpur where the lifeless body of her three-year-old daughter was found stuffed in a suitcase. According to media reports, Kajal admitted in her statement that she had an extramarital affair with a man and desired to divorce her husband. However, her boyfriend didn’t want the child to come along, so Kajal decided to murder her daughter by cutting her throat and proceeded to put her in the suitcase, where she dumped her in a bush. Police also added that Kajal said she was inspired to carry out the Horrific Crime in Muzaffarpur after watching the Crime Patrol TV show.

The body of the three-year-old Misti was found in a red trolley suitcase on Saturday in a residential locality in Muzaffarpur’s Minapur. This horrifying incident sparked a lot of concern among the people, forcing the police to have a Special Investigation Team conduct the case.

Police Reveal Shocking Details in Horrific Crime in Muzaffarpur

The police called forensic experts who were charged with the responsibility of investigating the case afresh. A search was conducted in the family house, and the investigators found blood droplets on the floor, in the kitchen sink, and on the terrace. On the other hand, the mother of Misti, Kajal, was nowhere to be found. Police came to know that a day before the incident, she had contacted her husband, Manoj, stating that she would go to her aunt’s place.

Having doubts regarding Kajal’s behavior, Manoj lodged a complaint to the police, which culminated in the filing of an FIR. Since they had the whereabouts of Kajal’s phone, the police carried out several sweeps, and she was found at her boyfriend’s place.

At the time of interrogation, Kajal confessed to the police of being involved in an extramarital affair for the last two years, stating her intention of living with her boyfriend. Awadhesh Dixit, the chief of city police, stated, “She wanted to take her daughter along, but the boyfriend did not want this. The woman was confused. Eventually, she slit her daughter’s throat with a knife. She then stuffed the body in a red trolley bag and dumped it in the bushes next to their home.”

A senior officer revealed that the woman attempted to clean up the bloodstains in the room and on the terrace, but the forensic team was still able to detect traces of blood. Additionally, the murder weapon has been recovered.

Mr. Dixit further said, “She committed the murder alone. She has said that she used to watch Crime Patrol and got the idea to kill her daughter and stuff the body in a suitcase from some episodes of the TV show.”

When asked if the woman’s boyfriend is suspected of any involvement in the crime, the officer responded, “We haven’t found anything suggesting the boyfriend’s role in the killing, so we have not detained him. She has also said she committed the crime after being influenced by the Crime Patrol and that her boyfriend did not talk her into doing it.”
